Schuring, Wynn Lyndell
age 59, of East Canton, left this world to be with the Lord, Friday April 24, 2009 in the comfort of his home with his family by his side. Wynn will be at rest with his buddy, his dog Duke. Wynn was born July 6, 1949 to Carl and Norma Schuring. He was a 1968 graduate of McKinley High School. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ where he served as deacon, active member of the Good Samaritan Class and played on the church softball league. He was a past member and president of the former East Canton Jaycees and enjoyed coaching Little League baseball for many years. Wynn loved spending time with his family and friends and riding his motorcycle. Wynn participated with his Harley "brothers" in a charitable club "Brothers of the Flock" to help families in need around the holidays. Wynn was the owner/operator of Lincoln Way Barbershop, Massillon and was known to be a best friend to his customers. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Ada Schuring; aunt, Anna Marie Crum; and several grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Elizabeth Schuring; two daughters and a son-in-law, Christa and Jeremy Stephens, Heather Schuring; one son, Matthew Schuring; three grandchildren, Faith, Ayden and Abygail Stephens; parents, Carl and Norma Schuring; sister and brother-in-law, Marsha and Jack Fortune; cousins, Sheila and Tom Esborn, Mark, Timothy and John Schuring; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Corrinne Allan; brothers-in-law and spouses, Joe and Carol Allan, James and Becky Allan; seven nieces and nephews; one great-nephew. The family would like to thank family and friends for their support and care during these difficult times. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 28, 2009 at 10:00am in St. Paul's United Church of Christ in East Canton with Pastor James Painting officiating. Friends may call Monday 5-8pm at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ. He may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
