Woodrow L. "Woody" Newhouse
Age 92, of East Sparta died Saturday, March 12, 2011 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born November 21, 1918 in East Sparta to the late John and Ada (Greek) Newhouse. He was a life resident of East Sparta and a retired self employed carpenter. Woody was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple. Preceded in death by his first wife, Blanche Newhouse; six sisters and six brothers; one step-son, Bob Corbit. Survived by his wife of 20 years, Hazel K. (Campbell) Newhouse; one step-son and spouse, Kevin and Tracy Biller; two step-granddaughters, Sandy Clapper and Aubrey Biller; two step-grandsons, Corey and Blake Biller; two step-great grandchildren, Bryan Clapper and Terra Brickwood; two step-great-great grandchildren, Austin Clapper and Reese Brickwood; many nieces and nephews; a very special friend, Bob Hershman. Following Woody's request, there will be no public calling hours or services a private graveside service will take place in Sunset Hills Burial Park with Rev. Clifford Hughes officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Aultman Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
