Wilma H. Sutherland, age 96, of Canton, died Sunday, February 6, 2005 in her daughter's home following a brief illness.Born in Uhrichsville, OH. on October 15, 1908 to the late William and Pansy (Hall) Strauss. She was a Canton area resident for the past 40 years and retired from the Timken Co. after 27 years of service. Member of North Industry United Methodist Church and had been involved with the quilting group at the church and was an avid gardener and quilter. Preceded in death by her first husband, Albert Goethel and second husband, Elvin Sutherland. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Dick Soulsby of New Philadelphia and Luann and L.J. Scott of Mogadore; six grandchildren, Sharon Rentz of Mt. Pleasant, SC., Brian Soulsby of New Philadelphia, Mark Soulsby of Medina, Wendy Moneypenny of West Friendship, MD, Lisa Clements of Brimfield, OH, and Eric Scott of Mogadore; six great-grandchildren, Ashley, Garyd and Miranda Rentz, Timothy and Matthew Moneypenny and Cameron Clements. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 10, 2005 at 10 am. in the North Industry United Methodist Church with Rev. Dave Ross officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.Friends may call Wednesday evening 6-8pm. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S.
