Wilma M. Hughes
Age 74, of Canton, passed away Thursday June 20, 2013 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. She was born February 22, 1939 in Osnaburg Township to the late Earl and Julia (Robbins) Higgins. Wilma was a life resident of the Canton area and was a formerly employed by Olympic Plating for 20 years. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Delmas Ray Hughes in 1997; three brothers, Earl Jr., Dave and Eugene Higgins. She is survived by seven children and their spouses, Kenneth Higgins, Vicki Hughes, Donnie and Mary Ann Hughes, Tammy and Scott Stephens, Jeannette and Guy Griffiths, Rachelle Hughes-Youtsey and Delmas Ray Hughes Jr.; 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Rick, Dan and Larry Higgins; three sisters, Zelda Milini, Carol Miner and Beverly Davis; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday June 25, 2013 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Thomas W. Shank Jr. officiating.
