Wilma M. George
Age 89, of Canton, was called home to be with her Lord on Tuesday October 3, 2017. She was born April 11, 1928 in Osnaburg Township to the late Roy and Esta (Phillips) Westfall. Wilma was a 1947 graduate of East Canton High School. She retired from Molly Stark Hospital in 1993 after 10 years of service. She was a member of High Mill Church of the Resurrection and the Lowell D. Oberly American Legion Auxiliary Post #667. Wilma is preceded in death by two sons, Dwight D. and Steven E. George; one granddaughter, Evey George; two sisters, Alma Clark and Gladys Beck; two brothers, Russell and Leroy Westfall; one great-grandson and one great-great-grandson. She is survived by four children, Dr. Michael (Carol) George, Patricia A. (Harold) Albright, Deborah K. George and Linda D. Myers; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bill (Louise) Westfall, Stanley (Sandy) Westfall and Donald Westfall; three sisters, Erleen (Karl) Blattert, Eileen Moroney and Dora Ridolphi. Funeral services will be Friday October 6, 2017 at 1:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. Burial will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery.
