Wilma Jane Bardine

August 31, 1917 — December 28, 2004

Wilma Jane Bardine, age 87, formerly of East Canton, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 28, 2004 in Belair Care Center, Alliance. Daughter of the late Richard and Maude (Steely) Martindale. She was a 1935 graduate of McKinley High School, an East Canton area resident for 20 years and a Canton area resident most of her life. Former owner/operator of Janes Costume Shop and formerly employed by Bircher & Rhodes Dentistry. Member of the East Canton Church of God where she had taught Sunday School, was a choir member and missionary president. Also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Bardine in 1999; two brothers, Harold and William Martindale. Survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Sandy Bardine of Akron, Sam and Diane Bardine of Waco; one daughter, Cindy Neiswanger of Beloit, five grandchildren; six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00am in the East Canton Church of God with Pastor James L. Snyder officiating. Entombment in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 6-8pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton and one hour before services Friday at the church (10:00-11:00am).
