William F. Winkleman
William F. Winkleman, age 82, of Louisville, died Sunday November 5, 2006. He was born in North Industry, OH, November 23, 1923 to the late Carl and Ann (Dine) Winkleman. He had attended Fairhope United Methodist Church where he was a member of Pathfinders Sunday School Class. He retired from the Canton Repository and was formerly employed by Green Thumb Nursery, Bloom and Klein Produce and Standard Oil Company. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by five sisters, Marjorie McWilliams, Doris LeBeau, Betty Bucklew, Donna Mosteller and Rua Buchanan; three brothers, Robert, Jack and Wesley Winkleman. He is survived by his wife, Emma (Estock) Winkleman, to whom he was married 59 years on August 2, 2006; a daughter, Laurie Winkleman; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Jo-Ann Winkleman of Lynchburg, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Julia and Dale Lamm; four grandchildren, Kevin Lamm and his wife, Erika of Pataskala, OH, Brian Lamm, Kyle and Dacey Winkleman of Lynchburg, TN; two sisters, Flo Davidson and Yvonne Hillman McPhee; one brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Helen Winkleman; numerous nieces, nephews, great nephews and great nieces. Bill was "the Jolly Green Giant" to all who knew him. He loved going to church, doing woodworking with his grandchildren, singing his own made-up songs and spending time with his family. Funeral services will be Wednesday November 8, 2006 at 11:00am in Fairhope United Methodist Church with Pastor Eli Dorman officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Tuesday (tonight) 5-8pm in Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. and one hour before services at the church (10-11am).
