William H. Tschantz
Age 81, of East Canton passed away Monday, September 12, 2011 in his home surround by his family. Born June 5, 1930 in Canton to the late Martin L. Sr. and Mildred G. (Doney) Tschantz. He was a Canton resident most of his life having also resided in Florida for 13 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of VFW Lowell D. Oberly Post #667. William was the retired owner/operator of Harrison Handling and Quadracast and had formerly been employed by Biro Manufacturing. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty J. (Bush) Tschantz; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Venita Tschantz of Louisville, Ronald and Cindy Tschantz of Lake Mohawk; two daughters and son-in-law, Patricia and William Grischow of East Canton, Linda Tschantz of Eureka, Montana; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Martin L. Tschantz Jr. of Jackson Twp. As per William's wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services.
