William D. Shondrick
Age 80, of Cathedral City, CA. and formerly of Canton, OH. died Wednesday September 21, 2011 in Eisenhower Medical Center, Rancho Mirage, CA. Born August 9, 1931 in Canton, OH. to the late George A. and Mary Inez Shondrick. He was a Canton area resident most of his life and resided in California for the past 30 years. William was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. He formerly was employed by Dandee Pretzel and Potato Chips and had been a purchasing agent for a hardware store in California. Preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Shondrick in 1991; a son, Scott Allen Shondrick; a grandson, Jeremy Shondrick. Survived by one daughter, Debby Shondrick of Wheeling WV; one son, William J. Shondrick of Cathedral City, CA; two granddaughters, Jennifer and Stephanie Shondrick both of California; one grandson, Stephen Moore of Wheeling, WV; two great grandchildren, Connor and Ethan Moore both of Wheeling , WV; his special companion, Marcy Crohn of California. A chapel service will be Monday Sept. 26, 2011 at 11:00 am in Sunset Hills Burial Park with Terry Bailey officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
