William Paul Pedicord
Age 76, of Canton, Ohio and Clearwater, FL died Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at The Inn at Belden Village, Canton following an extended illness. Born November 21, 1939 in Canton, Ohio to the late William Taylor and Clara (Smith) Pedicord. He was a Canton resident most of his life and a resident of Florida for 18 years. William was a 1957 graduate of Canton South High School and a U.S. Navy veteran. He retired from Canton Local Schools in 1992 with 33 years of service. He was a member of the Church of the Savior United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Dale Pedicord in 2007; one son-in-law, Dean Mingus. He is survived by four children and spouses, Mark and Kris Pedicord of Canton, Kaye and Greg Gottshall of Sugarcreek, OH, Brenda Mingus of Homeworth, OH, Kevin Pedicord and fiancée, Dee Snow of Holiday, FL; one step daughter and spouse, Tonya and Pete Niamo of Clearwater, FL; 7 grandchildren and spouses, Kari (Curtis) Myers, William Travis (Krista) Gottshall, Jason (Lenore) Pedicord, Amanda Pedicord, Brittany Pedicord, Megan Mingus, Jordan (Stefon) Hensel; 3 great grandchildren, Brik Myers, Larrik Hensel, Nash Gottshall. Funeral services will be Friday, March 25, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home, Canton. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call on hour prior to the service on Friday from 12:00 – 1:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to Clearpath Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
