Mayberry, William O.
age 89, of Canton, passed away Sunday May 3, 2009 in Aultman Hospital. He was born October 14, 1919 in Barnesville, OH to the late Harry O. and Mary (Chapple) Mayberry. William was a Canton area resident since 1946 and retired as a Maintenance Supervisor from The Timken Company in 1982 after 36 years of service. He was a WWII Navy veteran. He was a member of 38th St Church of Christ and was an avid golfer. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one infant son; four brothers, Earl, Frank, Russell and Harold Mayberry; two sisters, Mabel Slaven and Hilda Winezimmer. He is survived by his wife, G. Hildreth (Kemp) to whom he was married 62 years; two daughters and a son-in-law, Loretta and David Oles of Galion, OH, Sandra DiPietro of Louisville; five grandchildren, Teresa and Steven Oles, Daniel, Sarah and Tony DiPietro; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Edith and Carl Shaffer, Freda Duval and Betty Cliff all of Barnesville; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday May 8, 2009 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Lance Lindenberger officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
