William H. "Bud" Lindenbaum
William H. "Bud" Lindenbaum, age 78, died Friday, December 3, 2004, in Mercy Medical Center after an extended illness. Born November 12, 1926, to William and Laura Lindenbaumin Canton, OH. He was a 1944 graduate of McKinley High School and served in the United States Army during World War II in Japan and Germany. He was formerly employed by the Timken Co, Winters Foundry and retired from Frankham Brass and Bronze Co. in 1989. He is preceded in death by his father in 1955; two brothers, Robert in 1931, and Glenn in 1997. Survived by his mother, Laura Lindenbaum; and loving wife of 52 years, Dolores R. (Dobransky) Lindenbaum; one daughter and son-in-law, Chris and John Zwick of Minerva; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Denise Lindenbaum of Carrollton, William III and Chris Lindenbaum of New Philadelphia, Timothy and Elizabeth Lindenbaum of Powhatan, VA; seven grandchildren, Jason and Jeremy Lindenbaum, John and Bryan Zwick, Leah, Lindsey, and Ethan Lindenbaum; two great grandchildren, Trevor and Olivia Lindenbaum; One sister, Mary Jane Morgan of North Canton; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. William loved his family and was an avid craftsman, fisherman and loved horses. William is best known for his spirit, spunk and quick wit. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 7, 2004 in Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church at 11 am with Pastor Norman Dew officiating.Interment in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may Call Monday 6-9 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave and one hour before services at the church (10-11am). In lieu of flowers, memorial donaitons may be made to Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3828 Cleveland Ave SE, Canton, OH 44707.
