Age 63, of Canton died Sunday, January 20, 2013 in his home following an extended illness. Born August 8, 1949 in Canton, OH. to the late William E. and Jewel (Steffien) Carpenter. He was a life resident of Canton and was formerly employed by Tharp Trucking. Preceded in death by his wife, Toni J. Carpenter in 2011. He is survived by three children, Darren (Deanne) Costello, Dawn Carpenter (Michael Bucklew), William E. Carpenter IV (Bonita Kellicker); seven grandchildren, Brittney, Matthew, Noah, Charles, Justin, Ryan and William E. V; three great grandchildren, Nevon, Noah and Laila; six brothers and six sisters. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan 23, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Grace Baughman officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday from 10-11 am.
