William C. Bryan
William Clifford Bryan, age 76, died Monday, October 23, 2006 at his residence after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born in Ava, Ohio to the late Leonard and Edith (Tilton) Bryan. Bill was a Canton resident since 1941, veteran of the Korean War serving in the Air Force, he retired from the Timken Co. with 29 years of service; He was a member of Faith Community Church, AFLCIO, Sandy Valley Eagles, Life member of DAV Post 6, Amvets #124, American Legion Post #44, and Life member of Father and Son Hunt Club. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his Wife, Hilda E. Bryan in March 2006. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ronald W. And Karen Bryan of East Sparta; grandchildren, Rhonda, Jessica, Cassandra, Dakota, and Katie; a sister and brother-in-law Evelyn and Shine Rayner of Ava, Ohio; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Friday, October 27, 2006 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Rodney Price officiating. Burial in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 6-8PM and One hour prior to services (12-1pm) in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Faith Community Church. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Weeman, her staff, and to Aultman Hospice.
