William G. Bennett, age 75, of Guernsey County, OH, formerly of Canton, OH, died Sunday, May 14, 2006 in his home following an extended illness. Born in Canton, OH. on May 10, 1931 to the late Robert and Emma (Howold) Bennett. He was a Canton area resident most of his life having resided in Guernsey County for the past two years. William was an Army veteran of the Korean War and retired from Wean United Foundry. Member of the Army-Navy Club of Canton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers. Survived by 14 nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours or services. Inurnment in Melscheimer Cemetery, East Sparta, OH. Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave., Canton, is handling arrangements.
