Willard C. Kroma
Age 91, of Louisville died Saturday, May 29, 2010 in St. Joseph Care Center following an extended illness. Born July 31, 1918 in Oakfield, OH. to the late Fred and Flora Luella (Mendenhall) Kroma. He was a Louisville resident for the past 55 years and was a U.S. Army WWII veteran serving with the 37th Division 135 Field Artillery, Battery "A". Willard retired from Republic Steel in 1980 with 42 and ½ years of service. He was the former Co-owner/operator of Trumbell Security and Ohio Merchant Protection, Inc. He was a member of AARP and the American Legion. Preceded in death by his wife, Theresa G. Kroma in 2002. Survived by two nieces, Mary Jane Phillips of Canton, Sophia Preston of Las Vegas, NV; one nephew, Robert Mucha of Arizona; close friends, Paul and Pam Mills of Louisville. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at St. Joseph Care Center for treating Willard as a king. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Terry Bailey officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday (12:00 – 1:00 pm).
