Wilbur E. Hilbert
Age 81, of Mineral City died Monday, May 4, 2015 in his home following a brief illness. Born August 16, 1933 in Rumley Township, Harrison County, Ohio to the late Nelson R. Sr. and Ella (Knisley) Hilbert. He was a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran. Wilbur retired from the Timken Company with 39 years of service. He was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Preceded in death by two brothers, Nelson R. Jr and Warren Hilbert. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nita J. (Allen) Hilbert; one daughter and son-in-law, Sherie and Victor Harold Clark; one sister, Virginia Gibson; one brother, Robert Hilbert; one sister-in-law, Ruth Hilbert; one brother-in-law and spouse, Parker and Violet Allen; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11:00 am in Fellowship Baptist Church, 3741 Fohl St. S.W., Canton, OH. 44706, with Pastor Thomas W. Shank Jr. officiating. Interment in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens, Dover. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church from 10-11 am. Memorial donations may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church.
