Wilbert "Bill" Behrendt
Wilbert H. "Bill" Behrendt, age 80, of Canton, died Friday September 2, 2005 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Cleveland, OH, to the late Herman and Margaret (Kunze) Behrendt. He was a Canton area resident since 1958, retiring from the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local Union #120 in 1987 after 36 years of service. He had attended Canton Baptist Temple. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie J. (Dubois) Behrendt; two brothers, George and Harvey Behrendt; one sister, Esther DeMent. He is survived by his wife, Nancy S. (Marshall) Dillon-Behrendt to whom he was married 19 years; three daughters and a son-in-law, Holly Hoff of N. Canton, Cynthia Maney of Canton, Chris and Rick Baughman of Canton; five grandchildren, Chad, Dax and Mindy Hoff, Ryan and Ben Lichtenwalter. Graveside services will be Wednesday, September 7, 2005 in Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Cleveland, OH with Rev. Delaney Young officiating. There are no other services scheduled. The Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. is handling arrangements.
