Warren G. Winston
Warren G. Winston, age 86, of East Sparta, OH, died Saturday April 21, 2007 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. He was born March 19, 1921 in Gallia County, OH, to the late M.E. and Mary Helen (Shaffer) Winston. Warren was an East Sparta and Canton area resident most of his life. He retired from Conrail in 1986 after 14 years of service and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a WWII Army veteran. He is also preceded in death by one brother, Clarence Winston; one sister, Virginia Williams. He is survived by his wife, Eula G. (Bennett) to whom he was married 11 years; five brothers, Gerald, Harold and John Winston all of Columbus, Robert Winston of Wadsworth, David Winston of Galloway; four sisters, Gladys Crydoff and Glenna Figgens both of Oak Hill, OH, Betty Mechum of Dayton, Dianna Yovon of Grandview, OH; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday April 25, 2007 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Howard officiating and on Thursday at 1:00pm in the Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, Oak Hill, OH.
