Wanda L. Roshong
Age 87, of Canton died Thursday, September 11, 2014 in the Aultman Compassionate Care Center following a brief illness. Born July 26, 1927 in Coshocton, Ohio to the late Fred E. and Ella "Nannie" (Stein) Farmer. She was Canton resident most of her life and a 1945 graduate of Canton Township High School. Wanda retired in 1985 from Canton Local Schools where she was school secretary at Faircrest Middle School. She was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Dean H. Roshong in 1977; one grandson, Ryan Pierce. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Cole Wiley of Canton, LuAnn and Ron Pierce of Marietta, GA; four grandchildren and spouses, Andrew and Colleen Wiley, Evan Wiley, Matthew Wiley, Jason and Sheri Pierce; six great grandchildren; one sister, Opal Dine of Canton. Funeral services will be Monday, Sept. 15, 2014 at 10:00 am in Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3828 Cleveland Ave. S.W., Canton, OH. 44707, with Rev L. Scott Bacon officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Sunday from 1-3 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave.
