Wanda I. McCourt
Wanda I. McCourt, age 78, of Canton, passed away Monday February 11, 2008 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. She was born August 31, 1929 in Canton, OH. to the late Boyd and Mary Ursala (Thouvenin) Dale. Wanda was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and a life resident of the Canton area. She was formerly employed by Mercy Hospital and CCC Highway Transportation. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Senior Citizens and the Hall of Fame Greater Retirees. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Dale and Paul Dale. She is survived by her husband, Arlin F. McCourt to whom she was married 36 years; four step-children and their spouses, Arlin B. and Louise McCourt of Chesapeake, VA, Sherry Tucker of Rivesville, WV, Doyle and Cindy McCourt of Pinellas Park, FL, David and Susan McCourt of Morgantown, WV; 22 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Lowell Dale of Bristol, TN, Laverne and Alma Dale of Canton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday February 15, 2008 at 1:00pm in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Vincent T. Freeh, MSC, as celebrant. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
