Wanda L. Hagan
Wanda L. Hagan, age 88, of Canton died Thursday August 21, 2008 in Altercare of Nobles Pond following an extended illness. Born January 7, 1920 in Shadyside, OH. to the late William and Mary (Slack) Morris. She was a Canton area resident for the past 70 years and a former secretary for St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canton for 25 years. Wanda was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she belonged to the Altar/Rosary Society and Senior Citizen group. Wanda was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul V. Hagan in 1999; two daughters, Paula Hagan in 1957, Teresa Cush in 1986; one son-in-law, Patrick Leahy; three brothers, William, Arthur and Robert Morris; six sisters, Edith Beverage, Lillian Ault, Thelma Debray, Evelyn Toohey, Virginia McCartor and Katherine Mease. Survived by three daughters and son-in-law, Judith Drabick of Canton, Roberta Leahy of Canton, Michelle and Greg Cush of Daytona Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank the staff at Altercare of Nobles Pond for their exceptional care given to our "Mommy". Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday August 25, 2008 at 10:00 am in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Benson Okpara as celebrant. Entombment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Sunday from 2 – 5 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Memorial donations may be made to Mercy Medical Center Hospice, 7568 Whipple Ave. N.W., N.
