Wanda L. Brechbuhler
Age 93, of Canton, passed away Friday November 4, 2016 in Altercare of Nobles Pond. She was born January 17, 1923 in Navarre, OH to the late Paul R. and Bula E. (Pfouts) Fair. Wanda was a 1940 graduate of Navarre High School and owner/operator of the former Wanda’s Beauty Salon in Navarre for ten years. She was a member of North Industry Christian Church, Easter Star and a former member of Brookside Country Club. Wanda loved golfing, playing Bridge, Euchre, hunting mushrooms, winters spent in Florida, outdoor life and above all else, she deeply loved her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde B. Brechbuhler in 2015; one brother, Lee Fair; two sisters, Myra Dutton and Dorothy McAfee. She is survived by her beloved children, Kittie Brechbuhler Clarke of Bath, OH, Kim Brechbuhler of Canton, Kraig and Wendy Brechbuhler of Canton; eight grandchildren, Alex, Abbe, Emily, Andy, Seth, Kelli, Kristin and Madison; five great-grandchildren, Anna, Grace, Josie, Henry and Lewis; one sister, Pauline Kasserman of Winesburg, OH; one brother, Paul Jerry Fair of Seattle, WA; one sister-in-law, Rosemary Bailey of Canton. The family would like to thank the staff at Nobles Pond and Crossroads Hospice who cared so greatly for Wanda. There will be a private family service.
