Walter E. Krider
Walter E. Krider, age 90, of East Canton died Thursday August 28, 2008 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Born January 1, 1918 in Mapleton, Ohio to the late H. Edward and Grace (Rarric) Krider. He was a life resident of East Canton and a WWII Army veteran. He retired from the Timken Company after 39 years of service. Walter was a member of Market Avenue Church of Christ where he served as a Deacon. Preceded in death by his first wife, Delores Krider; an infant child; one grandson, Tom Krider; two brothers, Russell and Lester Krider; two sisters, Blanche Beatty and Ruth Reed. Survived by his wife of 25 years, Freda (Beardmore) Krider; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Martha Krider of East Canton; one daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Michael Poole of East Canton; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Darlene Krider of Mapleton. Funeral services will be Wednesday Sept. 3, 2008 at 1:00 pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Keith Kull officiating. Interment in Mapleton Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 – 8 pm.
