Walter Hoover Sr.
Walter Hoover Sr., age 66, of Canton died Thursday, May 29, 2008 in Meadow Wind Nursing Home following a brief illness. Born January 20, 1942 in Canton to the late Ralph J. and Mary M. (Sheppard) Hoover. He was a life resident of Canton and a U.S. Army veteran. He was formerly employed by Ecko Products and the City of Canton. Walter was formerly active with the Canton Mitey Mites Baseball Organization and was an avid McKinley Bulldog fan. Preceded in death by two brothers, Norman and Bill Hoover. Survived by five children and spouses, Walter Jr. and Wendy Hoover of Louisville, Tammy and Richard Davis of Canton, Jack Hoover of Louisville, Lisa and Aaron Salamon of Perry Twp, Timmy Hoover of Canton; 11 grandchildren; three sisters and brother-in-law, Grace and Jean Pasquale of Strongsville, Katherine Fisk of Canton, Sandra Munk of Canton South; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Linda Hoover of Canton, Gene and Betty Hoover of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews; two special friends, Sharon Long of Canton, Kathy Pudder of Canton. Funeral services will be Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 6:00 pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Dr. Bruce Mont officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Sunday from 4-6 pm.
