Walter A. Davis Jr.

Age 72, of East Canton, passed away Wednesday July 11, 2018 in Mercy Medical Center. He was born December 29, 1945 in East Canton to the late Walter A. and Viola (Henry) Davis Sr. Walter served in the U.S. Army Reserves for six years and retired from Kempthorn Motors in 2008 after 35 years of service. He proudly built his home in 1975 and continued its expansion over the years. He was a true friend to all and enjoyed riding his ATV and dirt bike. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and James Davis. Walter is survived by his son, Donald Davis; Walter’s companion, Maggie Bluhm of 35 years; two brothers, Bob (Dottie) Davis and Mark (Kay) Davis; two sisters, Becky Davis and Donna Robinson; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday July 14, 2018 at 10:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Terry Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Mapleton Cemetery.
