Virginia A. Nicholas
Virginia A. Nicholas, age 72, of Hartville died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007 in Mercy Medical Center unexpectedly due to an accident at her home. Born November 14, 1934 in Sharpsville, PA. to the late Dale F. and Ulla V. (Donnelly) May. She was a Hartville resident since 1968 and retired from Lake Local Schools in 2002 where she was a bus driver for 26 years. Member of the Red Hat Society and was an avid gardener and enjoyed ceramics and crafts. She was always a participant in the Walk for Life campaigns. Virginia always gave of herself first to her family and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Harry G. Nicholas; step father, Ken Light; one brother, Dale F. May. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Don Frank of Canton, Jackie and Jon McGlone of Beavercreek, OH; one granddaughter, Katelyn McGlone of Beavercreek; two step grandchildren, Kevin Frank of Canton, Amy (Rick) Kiesecker of Canton; one step great grandson, Hunter Frank of Canton; two nephews, Bob and Mark Jacoby both of Reading, PA; her beloved and faithful dog, Mikey. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Rev. Michael Shaub officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 7 - 9 pm.
