Virginia F. Carl
Virginia F. Carl, age 94, of Canton, passed away Sunday January 27, 2008 in the Canton Christian Home following a brief illness. She was born June 9, 1913 in Carrollton, OH, to the late William and Elizabeth (McConnell) Howell. Virginia was a Canton area resident most of her life and formerly employed by The Timken Company for 10 years. She was a former member of the Whipple Heights Garden Club and the Golden Charms Senior Group. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Carl in 1994; two brothers, John W. and E. Kenneth Howell; one sister, June Shaw. Survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Bill Hall of Canton South; three grandchildren and their spouses, Michele and Mike Pedone of Uniontown, OH, Nicole and Brian Wilkinson of Pataskala, OH, Kurt Hall of Arlington, VA; four great grandchildren, Allyson, Olivia and Ryan Pedone, Caitlyn Wilkinson. The family would like to thank the staff at the Canton Christian Home for their support and care during Virginia’s stay. Graveside services will be Friday February 1, 2008 at 1:00pm in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens with Chaplain Ron Iwanusa officiating. The Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
