Swartz, Virgil H.
age 83, of Canton, passed away Thursday April 23, 2009 in Country Lawn Nursing Home. He was born July 19, 1925 in Canton, OH to the late William and Gertrude (Talbert) Swartz. Virgil was a 1943 graduate of Canton Township High School and a WWII Army veteran. He retired from the Timken Company after 37 years of service. He is survived by one brother, Harold Swartz of Mineral City; one nephew and his wife, Charles and Judy Swartz of N. Canton; two great-nieces, Kimberly and Jennifer Swartz; one great-nephew, Christopher Swartz; cousin and faithful care givers, Diana and Ron Braucher. Funeral services will be Monday April 27, 2009 at 11:00am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Jeffrey Brown officiating. Interment with military honors in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call one hour before services on Monday (10-11am).
