Violet I. Keister
Age 94, of Minerva, passed away Tuesday October 30, 2012 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center. She was born October 4, 1918 in East Canton to the late Alph and Emma (Schramm) Clapper. Violet was an East Canton and Minerva area resident most of her life and was previously employed as a LPN by Aultman Hospital. She was a member of First Christian Church, Minerva. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Keister in 1987; six brothers and three sisters. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene and Ruth Anne Keister of Louisville, Terry and Jeanne Keister of Massillon; one daughter and son-in-law, Jettie and John Waltz of Paris; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Kate Clapper of Minerva; special friends, Bob and Hope Unkefer. Funeral services will be Saturday November 3, 2012 at 1:00pm in First Christian Church, Minerva with Pastor Ralph Norman officiating. Interment in Robertsville Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 5-7pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton and 11:30-1:00pm on Saturday at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
