Violet Jensen, age 87, of East Canton died Tuesday August 5, 2008 in Altercare of Louisville following a brief illness. Born June 11, 1921 in Akron, OH. to the late Steve and Anna (Jakoblovics) Drakulich. She was an East Canton resident most of her life and a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Jensen in 1984; four brothers and six sisters. Survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Robert Beck of East Canton, Betty and Dwight Erhard of Brunswick, OH, Mary King of Malvern, Rebecca and Hugh Dunlap of Minerva; one son, Arthur "Butch" Jensen Jr. of Florida; 25 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday August 7, 2008 at 10:30 am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Denise Whitesell officiating. Interment in Liberty Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday from 9:30 – 10:30 am.
