Viola M. Inboden
Viola M. Inboden, age 92, of East Sparta, passed away Friday June 20, 2008 in The Laurels of Massillon following a brief illness. She was born November 2, 1915 in East Sparta, OH. to the late Homer and Pearl (Geckler) Schaub. Viola was a 1935 graduate of East Sparta High School and a graduate of Canton Actual Business College. She retired from the United States Postal Service, East Sparta office, in 1983 after 33 years of service. She was formerly employed by U.S. Ceramic Tile for 12 years. She was a faithful member of East Sparta Christian Church and a member of the American Legion Post #244 Auxiliary. Viola, along with her husband, truly enjoyed gardening and watching sporting events both live and on television, their favorite was baseball; she also spent numerous hours working on crossword puzzles. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard "Abe" Inboden to whom she was married 66 years. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Marc and Beth Inboden of Canton; one grandson and his wife, Brandan and Emily Inboden of Bolivar. Funeral services will be Monday June 23, 2008 at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Jack Wingate officiating. Interment in East Sparta Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services on Monday (10-11am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the East Sparta Christian Church at P.O.
