Vincent F. Thouvenin, age 90, of Minerva, died Friday, March 25, 2005 in Altercare of Canton. Son of the late George and Mary (Freedman) Thouvenin. He was an East Canton resident for 70 years, retiring from the Stark County Engineers. Member of St. James Catholic Church, Waynesburg. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Catherine (Fredrick) Thouvenin in 1987; one daughter, May Wriston and sister, Hilda Baum. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Frances "Lee" and Sandy Thouvenin of Norht Canton; four grandchildren, Ann Davis, James Wriston Jr., Jack and Jeff Thouvenin; two great grandchildren, Andrew and Nancy Davis; one son-in-law, James Wriston Sr. of Minerva. A Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday March 29, 2005 at 10:00am in St. James Catholic Church, Waynesburg, where the procession will form with Fr. Robert Miller as celebrant. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 5-7pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton.
