Victor R. Ujcich Sr.
Victor R. Ujcich Sr., age 73, of Canton, passed away Friday June 20, 2008 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. He was born May 19, 1935 in Canton, to the late Joseph and Mary Ujcich. Victor was a life resident of the Canton area and a 1953 graduate of Lincoln High School. He retired from the The Timken Company in 1986 after 30 years of service. He truly enjoyed bowling in many leagues throughout the Canton area and golfing with his good friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie L. Ujcich in 1986; one brother, Joseph Ujcich. Victor is survived by one daughter, Mary Rush of Canton, her companion, Jeremy Meadows and his son, Jacob; one son and daughter-in-law, Victor R. Jr. and Wendy Ujcich of Clinton Township, MI; three grandchildren, Fawn Rush, Justin Ujcich, Jaclyn (Matt) Clark; one great-grandson, Dae`veyon Streeter; three step-grandchildren, Tera Schwerin, Geoffrey Schwerin and Michael Sondey; two brothers, Frank (Rose) Ujcich of Canton, Bill (Marylou) Ujcich of North Carolina. Funeral services will be Tuesday June 24, 2008 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Pastor James L. Snyder officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
