Vernon L. "Bub" Milhoan age 78, of the Massillon and Canton areas, died Wednesday May 25, 2005 in Brewster Park Nursing Home following an extended illness. Born in Monongahela, PA. on May 30, 1926 to the late Forrest L. and Sylvia (Atkinson) Milhoan. He was an Army veteran of WWII and Korean War. Retired from Republic Steel in 1985 with 42 years of service. Member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, AARP, S.O.A.R., VFW Post #693, Massillon Post #221 American Legion, and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #141. Preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ellen in 1974 and second wife, Maxine in 1982; three brothers, Samuel, Charles, and Edward "Gene" Milhoan; one sister, Lois Lucas. Survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Sylvia and William McCoullugh of East Canton, Rita and Ray Yutzey of Canton, Trina and Earl Rohn of Navarre, Lynette and James Alex of Canton; one son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Barbara Milhoan of Canton; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Zelma and Phillip Bierwind, Juanita and William Clark, Nancy and Bernard Ross, Susan and Harold Rush; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Shirley Milhoan, Forrest Jay and Susan Milhoan, David and Juanita Milhoan; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday May 28, 2005 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Phil Raynes and Rev. Paul Gerycz officiating. Friends may call Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Memorial donations may be to Mercy Medical Center Hospice @7568 Whipple Ave. NW., N.
