Verna M. Kautz, age 86, of Canton, died Friday April 6, 2007 in St. Luke Lutheran Community following an extended illness. She was born April 25, 1920 in Caldwell, OH, to the late Robert F. and Grace V. (King) Clark. Verna was a Canton area resident most of her life and retired from McCrory's Five and Ten Store. She was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William H. Kautz Sr. in 2000; two sons, Hughie and Detmer Mitchell; one step-daughter, Julie Musisca; one brother, Robert F. Clark Jr. She is survived by, one son, David Mitchell; two daughters, Linda Westlake and Sandy Whitten; four step-daughters, Alida Casto, Edi Alessandrini, Cathy Endlich and Jane Bruder; one step-son, William H. Kautz Jr; numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Gibson; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 10, 2007 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Delaney Young officiating. Interment in Olive Cemetery, Caldwell, OH.
