Verla F. Myers
Age 72, of East Canton, passed away Sunday September 13, 2015 in Aultman Hospital. She was born September 18, 1942 in Spencer, WV to the late Russell and Macie (Ray) Parsons. Verla was an East Canton resident for the past 40 years. She enjoyed spending time with and caring for her family. She truly enjoyed flowers but her greatest joy came from watching her grandchildren participate in sporting activities. She is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Elizabeth Myers; one brother, Kenneth Parsons; two half-brothers, Carl and Charles Shouldis. Verla is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Kermit D. Myers; one daughter, Barbara Conrad of East Canton; two grandchildren, Joseph and Joshua Conrad; three brothers, Sherman (Freda) Parsons, Eugene (Donna) Parsons and Burton Parsons; two sisters, Francis E. (Clifford) DeWees and Geraldine (Delmar) DeWees; a special niece, Julie Rayl; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday September 17, 2015 1:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Rick Brown officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
