Vera L. Roberts
Age 58, of Robertsville, passed away Friday February 24, 2012 in her home. She was born October 10, 1953in Clearfield, PA to Roy and Helen (Passmore) Barrett. Vera was a 1972 graduate of Louisville High School and a Robertsville resident for the past 23 years. She was the former owner/operator of American Heritage Restaurant in East Canton and Kopper Lantern Restaurant in Waynesburg. She was a member of the Waynesburg Free Will Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father, Roy Barrett; step-father, Pat Bentley; step-brother, Ronald Bentley. Vera is survived by her husband, Robert P. Roberts to whom she was married 30 years; one step-daughter, Winona Grant of Sandy Valley; four step-grandchildren; her mother, Helen Bentley of Louisville; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth Barrett of Carrollton, James and Cheri Barrett of Gastonia, NC, Richard and Kathy Barrett of Louisville, Frank and Betty Barrett of Greenville, TN, Roger and Deborah Barrett of Louisville; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday February 28, 2012 at 10:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Raymond Stanley officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
