Velma L. Bullock
Age 87, formerly of Navarre, passed away Saturday November 5, 2011 in Brewster Parke Nursing Home following a brief illness. She was born May 24, 1924 in Grantsville, MD to the late Harry and Mamie (Smith) Stahl. Velma was a Navarre area resident most of her life and was an active member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Bullock in 2007; two sisters, Irene Aiken and Linda Wolfe; five brothers, David, Charles, Frank, Harold and Clay Stahl. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Harry "Ed" and Mary Frances Bullock of Orrville, Jim and Jean Bullock of Massillon; six grandchildren, Brian and Jeannine Bullock, Matthew and Wendy Bullock, Melissa, Bethany, Andrea and Abby Bullock; two step-grandchildren, Steve and Leonard; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Urban of Massillon and Frances Bullock of Carrollton; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday November 9, 2011 at 10:00am in Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. L. Scott Bacon officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
