V. Keith Shuman
Age 77, of Magnolia, passed away Saturday May 11, 2013 in Mercy Medical Center. He was born June 4, 1935 in Pine Grove, WV to the late John D. and Hazel V. (Swartz) Shuman. Keith was a Louisville and Magnolia area resident since 1941. He was a self-employed Welder and served as a Police Officer with the Louisville Police Department for 22 years. He was a life member of the NRA. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Dorla Karcher and Karen Sue Mayle. Keith is survived by his wife, Luetta L. (Hardie) to whom he was married 58 years; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cherie and Charlie Otis of Barto, FL, Virginia and Scott Pingstock of Magnolia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Virgil K. II and Tina Shuman of Minerva, John and Mary Ann Shuman of Perry Heights; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; two brothers, John (Mary) Shuman of East Canton, William (Lynn) Shuman of Louisville; one sister, Mildred Swigart of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday May 15, 2013 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Peggy Garner officiating. Interment in Warstler Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 6-8pm.
