V. Eloise Barkley
V. Eloise Barkley, age 84, formerly of Massillon, passed away Friday February 29, 2008 in Greenbriar Nursing Home, Eaton, OH, following an extended illness. She was born January 25, 1924 in Woodsfield, OH, to the late Frank and Lelia (Earley) Ring. Eloise was a Canton area resident for 58 years and had resided in Eaton, OH. for the past 8 years. She was a faithful member of 38th St. Church of Christ where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for 50 years, camp cook for many years and a member of Stepping Stones. Eloise was an excellent cook and seamstress. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Barkley in 2000; three sisters. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Dennis Leonard of Eaton, OH; one son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Kathie Barkley of Clarksville, TN; two grandchildren, Rebecca and Anthony Barkley both of Clarksville, TN; two brothers, Frank Ring of Alliance and Delmas Ring of Canton. Funeral services will be Monday March 3, 2008 at 1:00pm in 38th St. Church of Christ with Lance Lindenberger officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call one hour before services at the church (12-1pm). The Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
