Tunney A. Lambert
Age 88, of East Canton died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center following a brief illness. Born June 3, 1928 in Wymer, West Virginia to the late James and Lenora (Snyder) Lambert. He was an East Canton resident most of his life and retired from the Timken Company with 42 years of service. Preceded in death by his wife, Luella Ann Lambert; one son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Barbara Gill; one son-in-law, David Tucke; one grandson, David Tucke Jr; three sisters, Carrie Lambert, Grace Tingler and Permilla Reed; 4 brothers, Ernest, Blake, Dempsey and Kermit Lambert. He is survived by five children and spouses, Darrell and Karen Gill of Mobile, AL, Caroleen and Rod Rohrer of Canton South, Sharon and Dennis Guist of Topeka, KS, Rocky Lambert and Debbie Doll of North Canton, Janet Miskimens and Ron DuPlain of East Canton; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond and Hansel Lambert. Funeral services will be Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Tim Monteith officiating. Interment in Center Church Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Sunday from 1:00-2:00 pm.
