Trudy I. Brewer
Age 76, of East Sparta died Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in St. Luke Lutheran Home for the Aging. Born November 9, 1938 in Cleveland, OH. to the late George and Hazel (Schultz) Bosley. She was a Canton/East Sparta resident most of her life. She was a 1957 graduate of Canton Lincoln High School and a 1960 graduate of Aultman School of Nursing. Trudy was formerly a nurse in labor and delivery and long term care. She had served as director of nursing for several long term care centers. She was a member of St. Mary’s/St Benedict Catholic Parish. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Brewer. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Amy Brewer of Uniontown; two daughters and sons-in-law, Heidi and Fred Trout of North Carolina, Louise and Todd Dapoz of Dover; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Mimi and Terry Pederson of Eau Claire, WI. A memorial mass will be Friday, October 2, 2015 at 10:00 am in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Canton with Father Benson Okpara as Celebrant. Inurnment in Melscheimer Cemetery.
