Timothy Joseph Matthews
Age 51, of Bolivar, was born May 4, 1963 in Canton to the late Charles "Chuck" Matthews Sr. and Patricia (McFarland) Mittas. Tim passed suddenly on Monday July 21, 2014 in Aultman Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Tally; one son, Joey Matthews; daughter and son-in-law, Natasha (Matt) McGraw; two granddaughters, Alea and Stella McGraw; father, Kirk Mittas of Canton; four brothers, Charles "Chuck" Matthews of Brookfield, OH, Bill Mittas of Cleveland, OH, Tony Mittas of New Mexico and Michael Mittas of Canton. Tim often showed his love for family in many ways. He always tried to attend family gatherings, often planned hunting and fishing trips for his son and friends and enjoyed time spent with his granddaughters. Tim was an avid hunter and his goal was to "Get the Big Five in Africa." He traveled the world in pursuit of the hunt and appreciated the beauty of nature. There will be many happy memories of "Deer Camp" with his son, family and friends. Tim was a very successful businessman; he served as president of Superior Mobile Home Corp. and appreciated the employees for their hard work and honesty. Tim was a good friend and often helped friends, family and charities in countless ways. He will truly be missed by the Apples of his eye, his son, wife, daughter and extended family. Funeral services will be Saturday July 26, 2014 at 3:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Demetri Mittas officiating.
