Timothy A. Dobbins Sr.

Age 82, of Canton, passed away Tuesday February 1, 2022 in the home that he built. He was born October 16, 1939 in Canton to the late Anthony and Lovisey (Cain) Dobbins. He was a 1958 graduate of the Canton South High School and a member of the Church of Resurrection. He retired from Diebold Inc. after 30 years and Canton Local Schools as a bus driver after 12 years of service. He is preceded in death by two sons, Timothy A. Dobbins Jr. and Troy Dobbins; 12 brothers and sisters. Timothy is survived by his wife, Shirley A. (Hackley) to whom he was married 62 years; two daughters, Tami (Dave) Cain and Terri (Dan) Gozdan; two grandchildren, Sarah Sears and Matthew (Robin) Reed; two step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Antonia “Tiny” Pope. Funeral services will be Monday February 7, 2022 at 1:30pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Mont officiating. Burial will be in Melscheimer Cemetery.
