Thomas M. Zinn
Age 90, of Canton died Saturday, June 13, 2015 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center following an extended illness. Born May 29, 1925 in Tunnelton, West Virginia to the late Clarence and Maude Zinn. He was a Canton resident since 1953 and a WWII U.S. Navy veteran. Tom retired from Diebold. He was a member of North Industry United Methodist Church where he served as head usher and a trustee. He was also a member of VFW Post#2345 in Tunnelton, WV., Liberty Council and JOUAM of East Canton. Preceded in death by his wife, Virginia L. Zinn in 2006; two brothers and one sister. He is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Nancy Zinn of Minerva, Linda and Thomas Ferguson of North Canton; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 1:00 pm in North Industry United Methodist Church, 155 Faircrest St. SW., Canton, OH. 44707, with Pastor Jeri K. Johnson officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to North Industry United Methodist Church or Aultman Hospice.
