Thomas W. Simon
Age 77, of Bolivar, Ohio died Saturday, June 1, 2013 in his home. He was a 1953 graduate of Canton McKinley High School, a graduate of Walsh College and a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. Thomas retired from the City of Canton. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Martha A (Carver) Simon; three children and spouses, Tom Jr. and Tina Simon, Steve and April Simon, Cindy and Craig Steffl; 10 wonderful grandchildren, Derrick, Brock, Dalton, Anna Grace, Chase, Cody, Jessica, Joe, Rachel and Ethan; one great grandson, Wesley. Thomas was an exceptional family man, a faithful friend of many and always displayed a great sense of humor. Private graveside services and interment will take place in Melscheimer Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
