Thomas P. McConnell

Age 86, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly Monday March 28, 2022. He was born January 21, 1936 in Canton to the late Thomas B. and Olive Lois (Roudbush) McConnell. Tom was a 1954 graduate of Carrollton High School and a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Canton Local Schools as director of buildings, grounds and transportation in 1993 after 28 years of service. He was a member of American Legion Post #548, Louisville and the VFW #3747. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joanne L. McConnell in 2009; one son, Thomas Kent McConnell in 1986; granddaughter, Erika Ann McConnell in 2010. Tom is survived by his daughter-in-law, Beverly Schisler; one brother, Robert (Sherry) McConnell; great-grandson, Jakob Kent Dunn. In keeping with Tom’s wishes there will be no services.
