Thomas E. Fox
Age 81, of Navarre died Thursday, May 16, 2013 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Born November 1, 1931 in Canton, Ohio to the late James V. and Wilma (Adams) Fox. He was a life resident of the Canton/Navarre area and a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran. He retired in 1990 from Superior Dairy Inc. after 34 years of service. He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Thomas was a life time member and past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council #4533. He was the recipient of the Knight of the Year Award in 1976. Preceded in death by one brother, James R. Fox. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marilyn C. (Gogerty) Fox; two sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick and Susan Fox of Ingalls, IN., Thomas W. and Stephanie Fox of Shepherdsville, KY; one daughter, Zella Cooper of Canton; 13 grandchildren, Gregory (Valarie) Talbot, David, Christopher, Daniel (Marissa), Ian, Samantha and Kyle Fox, Brian, Brandon (Jana), Michael, Matthew, Joseph and Adam Cooper; five great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Natalie and Elijah Talbot, Kayla and Chloe Cooper; many extended family and "snow bird" friends in Florida. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 10:00 am in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 4940 Tuscarawas St. W., Canton, OH. 44708, with Fr. Robert Lanterman as Celebrant. The procession will form at the church. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joan of Arc.
