Thomas J. Beckwith
Age 83, of Canton died Sunday, August 1, 2010 in his home following an extended illness. Born in Canton on September 2, 1926 to the late, Eugene G. and Catherine (McGraw) Beckwith. He was a life resident of Canton and a U.S. Army WWII veteran. Thomas retired from the Ford Motor Co. with 36 years of service. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Canton and the Altar/Rosary Society. He was also a member and former Grand Knight of Holy Martyrs K of C Council # 4733, member and Faithfully Navigator of Msgr. Graham Fourth Degree Assembly K of C, former K of C District Deputy and member of the Ford Retirees. Preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Beckwith in 1999; one brother, Joseph Beckwith. Survived by one daughter, Kimberly Ann Beckwith Dusenberry of Canton; one granddaughter, Megan Ann Dusenberry of Canton; one sister, Mary Ellen Clark of Canton. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010 at 10:00 am in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Canton with Fr. Benson Okpara officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave.
